Surface Inspection
LIMAB Board Profiler measures the complete profiles of boards in transversal conveyors with a freely selectable number of measuring positions/tracks. Because the system is modular it can be adapted to every specific demand, which gives optimum performance and at the same time a cost effective solution. The system can easily be installed without any costly mechanical rebuilding of existing line. Internal communication in the system is by CAN-bus, which minimizes cable connections and simplifies installation. Externally the system as standard communicates via serial interface RS232C and TCP/IP is also possible. The basic component in the system is the laser gauge PreciCura SR, using the latest digital and optical laser technology measurement accuracy and speed needed in these applications. Additional benefits are low maintenance cost due to non-contact measurement and reliability because the system is unaffected by surrounding light and level of moisture in the wood.
