Vehicle Detection
Vehicle detection sensors reliably detect the presence of large metal objects—such as a car, truck or railcar—even when the vehicle is not in motion. The M-GAGE S18M Series Vehicle Detection Series features a completely self-contained barrel design with no external controller. Replace inductive loops and amplifiers, and use a PLC in place of amplifiers and timer cards. Encapsulated with rugged epoxy to prevent moisture penetration, the sensor can be mounted above ground or embedded in pavement during installation. R-GAGE QT50R Series Radar Sensors use frequency modulated continuous wave (FMCW) technology for detecting moving and stationary vehicle targets. SureCross DX80 Wireless M-GAGE Node uses internal battery FlexPower Node for vehicle detection.
